Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: July 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Mayari Travel & Lifestyle website and the travel planning, management, concierge and related services provided by Mayari Travel & Lifestyle ("Mayari," "we," "us," or "our").
By engaging Mayari, requesting or authorizing a booking, accepting a proposal or service agreement, or making payment to Mayari, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions together with any terms communicated in connection with a specific service or booking.
1. About Mayari
Mayari Private Travel is a Philippines-based Private Travel Office providing personalized travel planning, management and coordination services to individuals, couples, families, executives and private clients.
Our services are relationship-led and may include year-round private, family and executive travel management, bespoke travel planning, signature journeys, accommodation and villa arrangements, flight and transportation coordination, private experiences and guides, dining, wellness, celebrations, special occasions, personal requests, destination arrangements and travel support before, during and after a journey.
Mayari currently provides its services through three principal areas:
- Annual Private Travel Office: ongoing travel planning and coordination for private, family and executive travel throughout the year.
- Bespoke Travel: individually designed journeys ranging from short escapes to complex, multi-destination itineraries.
- Signature Journeys: highly considered journeys such as private safaris, luxury rail travel, expedition voyages, remote destinations and milestone experiences.
The exact scope of a client's engagement, professional fees and any additional terms may be specified in a separate proposal, service agreement, itinerary, invoice, payment request or written confirmation.
2. Travel and Concierge Services
Depending on the engagement, Mayari may research, recommend, arrange or coordinate hotels, resorts, villas, flights, ground transportation, private guides, experiences, dining, wellness services, celebrations, special occasions and other travel or destination-related requests.
Certain services, amenities, upgrades, preferred-partner benefits or special requests are subject to availability and supplier confirmation and cannot be guaranteed unless expressly confirmed.
3. Independent Third-Party Suppliers
Many arrangements coordinated by Mayari are provided by independent third-party suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, resorts, villas, cruise and expedition operators, rail operators, transportation companies, tour operators, destination management companies, restaurants, private guides, wellness providers and experience providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Mayari acts as a travel advisor, coordinator or intermediary and does not own, operate or control these third-party services.
Each supplier may impose its own terms relating to deposits, payment, amendments, cancellations, refunds, no-shows and use of its services. By authorizing Mayari to proceed with an arrangement, the client agrees to be bound by the applicable supplier terms.
4. Quotes, Availability and Confirmations
Travel prices and availability can change at any time.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, quotations, proposals, itineraries and recommendations are subject to availability and do not constitute confirmed reservations.
A booking is considered confirmed only when all required payments or deposits have been received or authorized and confirmation has been issued by Mayari and/or the applicable supplier.
Mayari cannot guarantee that a quoted rate, room category, flight, experience or other service will remain available until confirmation.
5. Professional Fees
Mayari may charge professional fees for its travel planning, management, advisory, concierge or related services. Fees may vary according to the nature, duration, complexity and scope of the engagement.
Any applicable Mayari professional fee will be communicated to the client before payment or commencement of the applicable paid service.
Annual Private Travel Office clients may also enter into a separate service agreement governing the scope, duration, fees and conditions of their ongoing relationship with Mayari.
6. Payments
Payments may include:
- Mayari professional fees, payable directly for Mayari's planning, management and related services; and/or
- Third-party supplier charges, relating to travel or other services provided by independent suppliers.
Payments may be processed through Mayari's authorized payment provider or directly by a third-party supplier.
Prices may be quoted in Philippine Pesos (PHP), US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), or another applicable currency. Currency conversion charges, foreign transaction fees and fees imposed by a client's card issuer or financial institution are the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
7. Client Authorization
When a client instructs Mayari to proceed with a booking or arrangement, the client authorizes Mayari to make the relevant arrangements on the client's behalf and acknowledges any applicable pricing and booking conditions communicated before confirmation.
Clients are responsible for reviewing proposals, itineraries, booking confirmations and payment information before authorizing Mayari to proceed.
8. Client Information and Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information for all travelers, including names exactly as shown on passports or other identification documents, dates of birth, contact information and any other information required for travel.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they and all members of their travelling party possess valid passports, visas, permits, vaccinations, insurance and other documentation required by the relevant destination, transit country or supplier.
Mayari may provide general assistance or information regarding travel requirements but does not guarantee visa issuance, entry into any country or approval by any government or immigration authority.
9. Changes and Cancellations
Changes and cancellations are subject to the terms of the applicable supplier.
Cancellation penalties, amendment fees, fare or rate differences, non-refundable amounts and other charges may apply.
Where substantial additional planning or redesign is required following a client-requested change, Mayari may charge an additional professional fee where communicated and agreed with the client.
A request for cancellation or amendment is not considered complete until confirmed by Mayari and, where applicable, the relevant supplier.
10. Travel Support
Mayari provides travel support according to the scope of the client's engagement, which may include pre-departure coordination, in-destination assistance and support with changes or adjustments.
While Mayari will make reasonable efforts to assist clients when travel is disrupted, Mayari cannot guarantee the actions, response times or availability of third-party suppliers.
11. Travel Insurance
Mayari strongly recommends that clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance appropriate to their circumstances and journey.
Coverage should be considered for medical emergencies, cancellation, interruption, delays, lost or damaged baggage and other relevant travel risks.
The selection, purchase and adequacy of travel insurance remain the client's responsibility.
12. Limitation of Responsibility
Mayari exercises reasonable care in selecting and coordinating travel arrangements. However, independent suppliers remain responsible for the services they provide.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mayari is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers or for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, weather, natural events, strikes, governmental actions, border restrictions, force majeure events or other circumstances outside Mayari's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
